The Marian route in Aragón is at the crossroads with other religious centres, such as Lourdes, Santiago and Fátima. The frontier passes and excellent road network help pilgrims to travel. In addition, several tourist attractions – unique natural surroundings, castles, churches, works of art, interesting traditions and a wide variety of sports – invite you to look around an area that was opened up by pilgrim paths.

This starts at the capital of the Somontano region, Barbastro. Here, you can visit the Espacio del Vino (Wine Centre) and the Somontano Information Centre, both in the Conjunto de San Julián. There is also the headquarters for the Regulation Board for the Somontano Trademark Protection. At present, there is a shop where you can buy any of the excellent wines from the wineries, and traditional food products.
